Robbie Grossman looking to join the 100-100 club

(photo by Grant Jefferies)Marauders outfielder Robbie Grossman is running and walking his way toward a rare feat.

The 21-year-old enters tonight's game in Clearwater with 95 runs scored and 90 walks, and with 35 games left on the schedule, he is well on track to score 100 runs and draw 100 walks in the same season.

The last minor-leaguer to do that was Nick Swisher, who walked 103 times and scored 109 runs for the 2004 Sacramento River Cats, a Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics.

Grossman is batting .292 with a .429 on-base percentage. He leads all of minor-league baseball in walks and runs scored.
