Niko Vasquez's two-out grand slam has given the Palm Beach Cardinals a 9-3 lead in the top of the eighth inning here at McKechnie Field.
It was the second home run of the year for Vasquez, who was batting .211 and had six RBIs entering Thursday.
The next offering from Marauders pitcher Zachary Foster sailed behind Starlin Rodriguez, and Foster was promptly ejected by home-plate umpire Jake Woods.
He was replaced by Jason Erickson.
