Pedro Alvarez's night is over.
The Pirates third baseman, working his way back from a quad injury, played five innings at third and assisted on four putouts. He went 1-for-2 with a run scored and was hit by a pitch.
The Marauders lead the St. Lucie Mets 5-1 in the sixth.
