Marauders give Cumpton more support, lead 2-0

The Bradenton Marauders have given pitcher Brandon Cumpton more room to work during the fifth inning of their South Division Championship Series opener with the St. Lucie Mets.

Ramon Cabrera grounded a two-out single to right in he fifth, scoring Bengie Gonzalez and giving the Marauders a 2-0 lead.

Gonzalez started the rally with a one-out hit and moved to third on Adalberto Santos' third hit of the night. Cabrera, who drove in the game's first run with a first-inning sacrifice fly, followed.
